Martingale Chain Collar 30 - 55 cm (LC2)

This collar is made of 1 inch webbing and will fit most dogs from Terriers through to Labradors.  If your dogs neck measurement is between 30cm and 55cm this is the collar for you.  Also available are the matching leads to go with these collars.

What is a Martingale Collar??

A Martingale Dog Collar (also called a limited slip collar) is adjusted to the exact size of the dog's neck when the collar is pulled closed. If the collar is properly fitted, it will be comfortably loose when not in use. When the Martingale is pulled, the 2 rings on the collar should pull together, an instant solution for dogs who tend to 'back out' of regular flat collars.

Dog owners are now preferring the Martingale Collar because it does not damage the fur and will not crush the dog's throat when adjusted properly. Many trainers have started to recommend them because they prefer its gentle control. Others have learned about this style of collar and have happily made the switch from regular buckle collars and their dogs are happier.

As with any collar that tightens when pulled, your dog should never be allowed to wear a Martingale Dog Collar unsupervised.
