I look forward to each one of my furry friends being in a loving new 'forever' home of their own one day soon.
Thank You!!
More Information 30 kilos of dry food daily (1.5 x 20 kilo bag) Price per bag ranges between $25 to $40 per bag, add to that our bones bill and other special needs diets.
As we are not a ATO registered organisation, we do this for the animals in our care. The costs of feeding are a constant cost while they wait to find their new homes. Some dogs arrive and are adopted relatively quickly, however, some others that I have in care have been here for well over a year, and are still waiting for their 'forever' homes!
They are all GREAT DOGS!
Some just aren't the 'flavour' of the month !!
With the numbers of dogs currently in care, we are using
To reduce our costs we purchase food by the pallet load (28 bags), which lasts us 3 weeks (if we're lucky)!!
Being one family and self funded, our costs (vet bills, foods and medications) are rarely covered by adoption fees and we cover the difference from our own personal income
No we are not rich, but we have managed to continue helping animals for over 10 yrs now!! and each year we take in and rehouse over 100 dogs!!
