All dogs are wormed and treated for fleas on arrival.
They are all desexed (no exceptions), vaccinated, microchipped, on heart worm prevention and groomed (with notice) before being rehoused.

I CANT STRESS THIS POINT
ENOUGH...............Prior to taking your new dog home, please ensure
that you have a secure, escape-proof pen for them to be safely housed in
so that they can settle in and bond to you and your property. I DO NOT
encourage tethering a dog! This 'bonding' can take several weeks, and
if dogs are given 'free reign' too soon they will soon learn to
roam/wander onto neighbouring properties... bad habits are very hard to
break, it's easier to prevent them from learning them in the first
Slowly, slowly... it takes time , sometimes months, to introduce them to new properties so that they know to stay where they are supposed to be.
Please Note: Our priority is to place the dogs into the situations which are right for them, which is not always the first people to enquire. No offence to those who arent chosen to potentially adopt the dog in question.
**MURGO HAS BEEN ADOPTED** MURGO Male 3 years old Sharplaniac (Macedonian Shepherd)
Murgo is a Sharplaniac, a newly introduced breed into Australia and as such is not recognised by the registered dog associations. In their home country they are mostly livestock guardians, however, unless exposed to farm animals at a young age these dogs should be assessed as individuals prior to expecting them to 'guard' acreage. Murgo has been assessed and it has been found that he is not good on acreage or for livestock. He is however, an absolutely gorgeous friendly giant of a dog who is well handled and well socialised, he is people friendly and has a beautiful temperament. As a big dog he will need excellent high fences and a strong (physically) owner when being taken for walks, which he keenly enjoys. Please be aware that like any of our dogs, 'first in' is not necessarily 'best dressed'!
Adoption fee $500
**Adopted** Leo - male 2 yrs old
Leo has turned into a wonderful dog, he is a shy boy who has had minimal handling and will require some time and understanding for him to accept new people and environment. He is good on acreage and respectful of farm fencing and has been living with goats and their kids for several months now and has proven a good guardian of their space. He is not suitable as a pet or for free ranging poultry.
Adoption fee = $500
** Adopted ** Thor - male 4 yrs
Thor has shown us to be a happy, friendly, well handled boy who at this stage (this should read a 'big puppy') would make a great companion for the right family on a large block/suburbia with good fencing. As Thor is still young he needs supervision around poultry and livestock.
Adoption fee = $450
